What are your main pain points w Warpcast, and top features desired in an alternative?

i am far more worried about the survival of the Farcaster protocol than any particular client features

So the main concern is having an alternative if Warpcast breaks? It's not easy to compete without some competitive advantage

no no no, if one party controls the protocol then it is not a protocol. the centralization risk is massive right now

True, but then is it really an issue for competitor to Warpcast? Warpcast may be a centralization vector but q is how is the protocol governed

true. but if there are multiple powerful parties around the protocol, it could be forked, also?

Pretty sure it can be forked already. But seems if someone wants to exert influence on the evolution of the protocol they should either have 1) a client/app with a bit user base or 2) have great ideas on what features can help grow/scale DAUs (tho imo DAU is a poor approximation for what we should be striving for) https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0x56a19814
