One of the biggest differences for me going from VC to company founder is getting comfortable with not keeping up with most things happening in crypto anymore since your world ends up being more specialized. Surprisingly harder to adjust than I anticipated since crypto news is actually really interesting

It's a little contradictory, but one thing I've found helps a lot is volunteering. 

I'm in a committee meeting once a week for an education-focused non-profit, with people in various roles around the industry. I get to hear what's currently important to them, their coworkers, and their users. 

It's way more effective than hours of doom scrolling.
