BTC mcap is 4.5x larger than ETH and BTC ETFs were around 7 months longer than ETH ETFs. CT led me to believe that ETH ETFs were doing poorly, but actually they are doing phenomenally lol.

Interesting argument by @gord that Nostr represents an unrecognized third type of distributed architecture after federated and p2p (which he suggests don’t quite work due to rise of oligarchic or supermodel end-games) — a relay architecture. love the idea of nouns creating new and better inclusion parameters than the existing ones in existing subcultures one dynamic just ppl sharing something in common (nouns) that leads them to feel a shared belonging and see past the normal stereotypes. another is actual physical gatherings (eg nouns town) and digital gatherings (this channel) that mash these subcultures together tbh this is one of the things i love most about nouns. my life is much more full of interesting subcultures and ppl as a result of nouns. you can also see it happening everywhere. like smash esports players stayed more days to come to the film festival and come to dreamland and that included them in new spaces that they normally would not be in and they loved it

yesterday, russians killed a fellow aid worker (who was evacuating civilians) using an FPV drone and spread the video on telegram 🥺⛑️💔 I normally don’t share these kinds of videos, but I want you to see what every single one of us risks while delivering supplies or doing evacuations. this could have been me (and I fully understand the risk). as always, this most likely won’t make the news, as targeting and killing any civilians including aid workers is treated as ‘normal’ these days. in russian telegram channels they call it “human safari” 🫥

IMO Ethereum is underrated right now. It's one of the most unique L1s today, as while many projects have tried a multi-chain ecosystem, Ethereum's rollup ecosystem is by far the biggest and most successful instance of that, and that's incredibly valuable.

Ppl don't realize this means mass death. Places like India are at dire risk of temperatures raising above 50°C. Which means *instant death* for humans. We'll go from "everything's fine" to "millions dead" and everyone will be shocked, as if scientists didn't warn us for decades
