This year, I built... As a writer, I have employed my abilities to engage a variety of audiences with Base's objective of promoting innovation and creating a worldwide onchain economy. With the launch of my blog, "Building Base Together," and the creation of impactful content, I successfully integrated new users into the ecosystem. In addition to advancing my career, working with @baseafrica and the larger community has inspired my plans for 2025. This journey has been inspired and supported by @base teams and supporters, for which I am especially grateful. I am so excited for you all to see what I have planned for 2025. Stay tuned! I’m grateful to be part of this amazing platform and proud to have shared what I built last year. When the "What Did You Build This Year?" reward challenge was announced, I was excited to showcase my work and earn something to help me grow in 2025. At first, my earnings were low but gradually increased, reaching 0.0368. This gave me hope and motivation. But the next day, my earnings dropped drastically to 0.0030 and kept reducing to 0.0011. Despite following the guidelines, sharing my story with pride, and even creating a short video, I feel disheartened and unsure if my work is being valued. The reward means so much—not just as recognition, but to fund future projects and build with purpose in 2025. Sometimes the greatest course of action is to simply say, "Fuck it," when you're sick of arguing, explaining, or acting. Let go of the things that are beyond your control and fuck it🖕. Fuck it—accept your imperfections and give up striving for perfection🖕. Go for peace instead than proving yourself to other people🖕. Because you discover the power to move forward when you let go. This week I built... Spotlighted EgoBlox, a ground-breaking app that uses Telegram to make payments, airtime purchases, and cryptocurrency transactions easier. I accomplished this by: 🔵EgoBlox's influence was demonstrated through a thorough article, a Twitter discussion, and a user survey. 🔵Impact: Raised user knowledge of onchain payments and informed them of its advantages. 🔵Results: Three individuals who tested the product were onboarded, and the thread produced 702 impressions and 47 engagements.
