Haha yeah my reply was to reinforce your point! It’s interesting to see the first meaningful signs of convergence since Apple first poached fashion industry leaders ahead of the Apple Watch. Didn’t lead to much beyond that. Then there’s the likes of 9dcc and iyk trying to generate demand for this new category.

If Meta acquires the interest in EssilorLuxottica (and maybe takes over long term) + EL successfully diversifies into broader fashion in the interim period (starting with the Supreme purchase), the end result could be the first tech-fashion conglomerate.

People who hope runes to be equivalent to memecoins on eth/sol have the wrong expectations. Runes allow for memecoins to be etched that fit within bitcoin’s vision and constraints. The meta will be different. Harder to pnd based on block times, need to approach differently and culture will attract unique narratives.

Yeah it was! Main takeaway was devs should build to fit bitcoin’s vision and constraints (eg ordinals protocol), instead of trying to force bitcoin to fit their own (ie some L2s). Also provenance is the alpha, high art is coming, runes are cooking and airdrop meta not over.

Are you referring to pre-runes or actual runes? Former there isn’t the drain risk to list as no smart contracts but most are worthless now. For actual runes, there have been issues on marketplaces like unisat due to UTXO management. Unisat ship quickly but given runes are early, stick with ME and Xverse for now.
