if blockchains super power is open data, then the focus of mimicking the business models of closed data systems are the wrong approach. & yes, all current internet businesses are in fact data businesses. so that means crypto needs to create the business models for open data. that's disruptive. that's bullish.

think crypto founder/product energy hedges too hard on attention when the opportunity is really on retention. we say we need to build for "mainstream" and "masses", when actually the TAM is already huge & grows organically through cycles. focus on the incentives to keep the money and energy in versus getting out.
