@justindrake asked me why we don't use DA layers instead of Snapchain. I've heard the question a few times, so here's the answer. Snapchain is a storage layer for Farcaster data. Every like, cast, reaction you post is stored there and propagated to all apps in real time.

I check Farcaster weekly & each time I'm like, 'ugh I want to spend more time here,' but then I never end up making it a new habit... there's so much inertia in having a following on X. In part, I think it's also that I feel lame copying content across platforms & it's more work to have original takes in a second spot.
