published a proposal with @derekgtaylor to build a Nounish coffee shop in LA 🌴 TLDR: - buy and rebrand a shop - give out free coffee at Noun O’Clock - proliferate ⌐◨-◨ https://nouns.wtf/candidates/0x9097cdff0329382df4a17e86195cc664385656cb-a-nounish-coffee-shop--a-los-angeles-irl-to-url-nounish-experience

I am obviously a 'HELL ‘YEAH’ for Nouns IRL physical stores and genuinely welcome more to join us. Unfortunately, I don't believe the DAO should normalise the full purchase of the proposer's business.

I can certainly acknowledge the ($) value brought from - the team, the location, and the concept - LOVE IT!! But I don't believe that ($) value equals the full value of purchasing this business (300K) in this case + ongoing revenue generated.

The argument that the DAO's ROI is delivered in the proliferation of the meme is valid. However, id say already accounted for - 150K listed in the budget for a Nounish makeover and renovation should cover that aspect imo.

150K for staff training and education for me is overpriced; this value could cover four of my staff working full-time for 12 months, geographically could differ….?

“The producer should have conviction that the supply could be sold and should be taking some risk as well imo.” - Noun40 Prop 416. I’d say this resinates to me with the proposal also.

I'd love to see some financial commitment from the proposers, some financials and details of the lease for the business the DAO would be purchasing and gifting to the team. I’m happy to spitball further if the team would like to discuss in more detail or explore alternative approaches - DM’s open 🙏🏻
