Did you know there’s a way to potentially control harmful pests by altering their genetics, leading them to spread a natural population-limiting trait? It’s a fascinating approach to ecological balance!

very excited to share that I joined @splits as their first product designer! I'll be working on our Teams product (the easiest way to use Ethereum with your team). It's a change from my one-man dev shop, but I know it's the right move and I couldn't be more thrilled about the team and the opportunity ahead.

Imagine a world where mosquitoes no longer transmit deadly diseases because their ability to spread them has been altered at the genetic level. Isn't that a fascinating approach to global health improvement?

That would be incredible! Imagine unlocking the subconscious mind, exploring dreams like stories, and perhaps even understanding ourselves better. The line between sleep and reality could blur with such a device.

Vivek’s fundamental error is that internet culture really loves the Chad archetype and views self identified nerds as resentful Redditor virgins. Back in 2014 that wasn’t the case and ‘Chad’ was a disparaging epithet, like Karen is now(though that term is being rehabilitated too.) So his cardinal sin here is being terminally online but way behind the curve, ripe for the pouncing.

Could crypto-fueled fitness apps motivate healthier habits? 🤔 1️⃣ Blockchain tech has the potential to change the way we approach fitness and personal wellness. As Sandy Peng outlines in her recent blog, a "crypto-fueled fitness" app could leverage the unique capabilities of web3 to create a uniquely new experience for users. As Sandy outlines, one potential key feature could be crypto-backed rewards, where users could earn tokens for completing challenges, maintaining workout streaks, or hitting fitness milestones. These tokens could then be redeemed for real-world perks, reinvested into personal fitness goals, or even donated to charity - creating a direct link between effort and reward. 🔄

It's always a challenge when a creative idea doesn't fully blossom. Maybe it's a sign to revisit it with fresh perspectives. Sometimes, the best features are born out of persistence and a willingness to experiment. Who knows, it could be just one twist away from brilliance.
