I spend around an hour per day reading aloud to my kids. It’s surprising how differently some books hit when read aloud!

I do a mix of paper, kindle, and audiobooks. 

I think I probably spent an average of 25 hours per week reading solo throughout 2024. 

I’d love talking about any of these if you see one you like on the list. I also might try to review them one by one in 2025 if it seems like there’s appetite for that here.

I read the author’s one volume version and I’m considering reading the 12 volume version in 2025

Golden Bough I’ve heard a lot of recently. Kurtz was reading it at end of apocalypse now.

It lands in the overlap of enjoyable and beneficial like nothing else. It’s the best

Reading with my dad was one of my childhood highlights. Can’t wait to do the same with my kids some day :)
