the soulless nature of this is so detrimental to society. corporate greed strips away the joy out of walking into a local coffee shop. local bakery. local burger place. people seek warmth and community. that’s why we fucking travel to japan or beirut for authenticity. many smaller U.S. cities have it as well.

as someone who was once a champion of the cosmos ecosystem, i find it quite mystifying that in 2022, the ETH community looked at the modular ecosystem that cosmos built, and thought.... yes i want that.....i get excited when i see empty blocks.
