i’ll give you a good example

literally every conversation i have with anyone back home (lebanon), eventually ends with “but what if they convert your kids to trans”.

the question always comes up. 

the news makes it seem like it’s a prevalent problem with an army of trans vampires searching for children

is this what they ask about living in the US?

have you heard of mean world syndrome? people who follow the news are more likely to agree that “most people only care about themselves,” and that we are helpless to better the world and obv to be stressed or depressed
