I had deposited about $100 (then) of a coin to Base and because they didn't support that token (despite it being sent to my address for my Ethereum wallet that they had custody of) they said I just had to wait for them to support that token and there was nothing they could do about it.

Lol, I suspect it's little more than a whitelist of tokens to show up in their applications and there is an ungodly amount of tokens from numerous individuals who have deposited something on a network that Coinbase has listed they support (caveat being that network for individual tokens only) only to find out it never shows up... whoops.

Least they could do is have a method to reverse it, because it's clear to anybody who knows how wallets work that they are in custody of that balance (despite saying they don't).
