What are the "DePIN" projects that people think are most likely to actually work? It feels like the category is a new name for something that's been around for a decade (StorJ, various decentralized ubers...) but has never gotten off the ground? So what's the bull case for why it will get off the ground now?

Helium has deals with T-Mobile iirc so as far as DePIN goes it is probably the most promising, though it seems to be marketed as merely an American low-cost option

right but if you're dependent on deals with T-mobile then what's the point of the De part?

Both supply and demand sides are heavily incentivized by their new token $mobile . What happens when token incentivization runs out?

Is there any real working LoraWan project working on Helium? As a LoraWan integrator I would really want to know it. Prices are great, but there is no word about package losses and other relevant info.
