Women’s hearts beat faster than men’s.

On average, a woman’s heart beats about 8-10 beats more per minute than a man’s, even when at rest. This is because women typically have smaller hearts, which pump less blood per beat, so they need to beat faster to circulate the same amount of blood throughout the body.


I remember reading this in a medical journal once. It blew my mind.
