Most Western users do not want to iMessage inside their Robinhood app then tab over to scroll TikTok in that same app.

And builders of elite messaging apps are not going to be the same builders who make elite trading apps or social feed apps.

hard to say but I think convenience and efficiency of doing everything in one app trumps any superior experience you'd get elsewhere

if so, let’s not forget what kind of gov runs the country there, and that data and daily interactions on these platforms are subject to scrutiny and social scoring

it’s easier to control the whole population from two superapps than from a hundred smaller apps
