This is the only way the army can destroy Hamas and avoid harming civilians as much as possible. Hamas has built an underground city under north Gaza and hides there (with the core below hospitals and schools). Israelis understand now that Israel will never be safe with Hamas living alongside it.

I'm sorry, this is the only way!!? There are other ways to stop this conflict: Israel can return the stolen lands, stop raping & pillaging, stop being an apartheid state. Hamas was a social entity until Israeli aggression increased and they essentially became the political power and a pusedo army for Palestinians

Israel left the Gaza Strip in 2005 and shut down the settlements. What we got was one of the worst terror organizations in history. Every dollar that went to improving Palestinian lives was invested in rockets, missiles, and killings. We want to live in peace with our neighbors. What would YOU do?

Gaza is an open air prison and it gets bombarded by Israel every year. Many children and civilians are killed as a result. You keep stealing their land, building illegal statements, continue to kill & imprison them, blockade and suffocate them. How can you expect peace and no retilation!?

The situation with Gaza is nuanced (I feel sorry for the citizens of Gaza who don't get a chance for life with opportunity) but Israel had tried to improve the conditions there just to find out it was taken advantage of Here is Hamas admitting it in the open! https://twitter.com/EylonALevy/status/1712415448711495789
