This is the only way the army can destroy Hamas and avoid harming civilians as much as possible. Hamas has built an underground city under north Gaza and hides there (with the core below hospitals and schools). Israelis understand now that Israel will never be safe with Hamas living alongside it.

So the army must enter Gaza from the ground and destroy Hamas infra and completely eradicate its military capabilities. You need to clear out the civilians and than fight directly with Hamas.

I'm sorry, this is the only way!!? There are other ways to stop this conflict: Israel can return the stolen lands, stop raping & pillaging, stop being an apartheid state. Hamas was a social entity until Israeli aggression increased and they essentially became the political power and a pusedo army for Palestinians

the only choice? I think that displacement has a lot of ethical downsides for the region. understandably, idk what blockers there are for detection in the tunnels, but this "X at all costs" concerns me, from my POV it doesn't address backlash & there's no indication that this stops remaining cyclical.
