Farcaster should have (near-)unlimited length messages like twitter.

Having used it for a while, I feel like twitter's long message feature improves its user experience and its usefulness for high quality discussion.

Honestly, I miss the days when everyone was limited to just 140 characters on Twitter.

I like how only the first 280 chars are visible, so there is still some incentive to be succinct.

140 was too little; it encrgd 2much overoptimiz'n and u got lotsa barely readabl txt. 280 is a great balance.

it was an artform remaining within the character limit

I'm with you, messages don't make as much or as much noise under the word limit
