Now that Lens has added support for token-gated posts, I'm wondering if this would be technically feasible on Farcaster, considering that all casts on Farcaster are publicly stored in the hub. 🤔

Hmm… that would be possible but it would require reworking the algorithm. But then the question is why have the posts as posts at all instead of like a token gated chat?

Yes, that's right. this is an idea: token-gated posts (pics) in a frame.

I don’t personally like the idea of selling and buying keys on a curve. I think Tribes or XMTP group chat with a token gate is more interesting. And of course there’s Console too for folks who want a whole discord type thing. 

Back to your original point, I realized we can already token gate posts with frames
