I love the last point, startups are harder if you don't love your customers and this is a serious problem in web3, most web3 founders look down on their core users and call them farmers, jeet, etc (starknet) that's why most crypto startups fail.

Iβd say the bigger reason is they confuse farmers for customers. In most cases they are not, they are purely exploiting earnings and leave the moment they can dump some. There is a major difference to real users who earn while using the product vs those using it purely to earn.

The two are narrowly separated, some farmers end up being loyal users due to UI/UX and sense of belonging.

Yes, those who come in and genuinely use the product with their real identity even if their motivation is to earn are very welcome. For me farmers are defined by the only reason they use something being earning vs even trying to use the product as intended (e.g. washtrading)
