I am against: Tinkering with blobs in order to try and extract more L1 fees out of rollups. I am for: Improving the blob fee market to make it more reactive to changes in demand and reduce the lagtime to price discovery. Let the blobs do their job of scaling Ethereum!

raising blob prices is pure cope — if it doesn’t come at cost for the validators it should be as cheap as possible

I feel it should be occasionally adjusted to reflect market conditions, the current blob prices are too low and thus making Eth inflationary

I don’t know who spread that it’s such a bad thing being slightly inflationary vs slightly deflationary. Yes, the ultrasound money meme doesn’t progress fast in the short-term but low inflation is a growth budget and cheap blockspace is what grows Ethereum. I’d say Eth with very small inflation is as sound if not sounder than Eth with deflation which you can optimize for down the road to get something like dividend payments for a mature project. https://warpcast.com/juli/0x6b0daf7a
