was there ever an announcement about the zora l2 being deprecated. at least, it seems like it has been, but no official word? what happens to the art over there

I wonder why their new protocol isn’t available on their chain

No not afaik

i had asked jacob about it a while back on that TL and he said they still plan to support it moving forward

what's the future hold for it? not sure what other conclusion to draw when zora doesn't release their new protocol on their own chain.

It's not deprecated. Everything created on their still exists and is accessible on the app and website. 

The network is also going through an upgrade next week to get Fault Proofs.

We've set Base as the default for the latest version since that's where the majority of activity is happening right now.

Yeah technically it’s running still  but zora’s whole new thing doesn’t even use it so you gotta think it’s being abandoned
