My personal rather non technical take is this run will be impacted by macro events which will alter the trajectory.

Presuming powers that be manage to keep equities melting up.  Then we see big bull run 80K btc, ETH 6K by end of summer.  Then at some point forces collide and number goes ____?

i also thought we'd see the relative death of some of the more useless coins in the top 100 but so far that hasn't happened outside of luna

Valuations and risk appetite feel like mid-cycle but the tourists haven’t arrived yet. It’s a weird tempo.

i don’t know still seems it’s the same $ rotating for now. 

ETFs brought liquidity but not onchain. 

i have yet to see some of the hype from friends and family that i saw in late 2017 and 2021. 

i would stick to the btc halving narrative for now.
