Even if Farcaster comes to nothing (I don't think it will), its beyond any reasonable doubt that this network is a cozy corner for a group of people that find this part of the internet invaluable. They will continue to spend a large chunk of their time on this network.

I think it's pretty hard for most people to understand right now why FC's social graph is so powerful, so lemme try to graph-pill you: 1) Blockchain has some amazing tools to help move from our current top-down-authority world to a bottom-up-builder world 2) Unfortunately, those same tools can (and are) used to scam people 3) As a result of 2) most true believers can't onboard their personal networks in good faith because they'll get rugged 4) A social graph creates a layer of trust which can mitigate 3) As a small example, most DAOs fell apart last cycle because they were completely permissionless, and fell victim to non-value-aligned people coming in and extracting as much as they could. A trust graph could allow you to vet a new member based on your existing members. Now start to think about other places where you need trust: voting, hiring, travelling, etc. A trust graph can be really useful in these cases.

In the Asian market, people usually have large communities but are not good at building long-term culture/consensus. Asian teams have strong execution capabilities but lack the courage to innovate, so the development of Farcaster decentralized social network is still in its infancy. from nate silver to perplexity and now to bloomberg terminal, whoever is doing polymarket BD deserves a raise. bloomberg terminal, the most widely used software by financial institutions to access real-time markets and place trades (and therefore influence market movements and decisions), has integrated polymarket. this is huge for: a) mainstream awareness and adoption - bloomberg terminal is ubiquitous in finance for data, news, messaging, price quotes, trading, analytics, etc. b) credibility - bloomberg is known as a respected source of financial information this could be huge for (but TBD): a) liquidity - drive more users (non-US and institutional) to participate in prediction markets, leading to more market efficiency, tighter spreads, reduced volatility (a la "flywheel") b) innovation - drive new ideas that combine traditional markets with prediction markets or that enhance existing forecasting tools, etc. what else?
