correct, this was built before mini apps allowed an experience from within a new cast. it's on me for never having added it

but how? with old frames you had cast actions, with a miniapp i don't think that would be easy to do?

it's very easy to do. you are in a reply cast, you open the mini app, it brings up the quote cast. you can either cast it as is or modify it in the mini app first. mini app can then spit out cast text including a frame link that renders in a reply
