took a little longer than initially expected, but I don't think it could've been timed any better. 

always looked at this first pair as an art project that I'd love for the whole higher community to own, and I think there are some fun ways now to make it so

This shoe is a particular Nike silhouette. We found that it just looks weird without it. But its also paying homage to an iconic shoe design and taking it higher

why the Nike check? doesn't it confuse the brand?

Several factors. The biggest constraint is the craftsman’s bandwidth and capacity  since the shoe is completely bespoke and handmade. It’s what he's comfortable with for making the same piece of art. The specific sole has to be sourced from OEM too so don't want to overpromise either
