in the spirit of quickly bringing more features and tools for channels through Cura, I missed clarifying some imp caveats related to modbot and cura: - cura is still working on a seamless and parity experience for channels who use(d) modbot. we're aiming to complete it within this week. h/t to @web3pm for all the feedback. - modbot still works for your channel in case you don't want to use cura - modbot added curabot as an additional mod for its channels. this was done so that channel mods don't have to go through the hoops of migrating channel rules and plugging in a new moderator bot. i think we could have made this opt-in. we're working with active modbot channels to resolve this. DC me if you need help with your channel(s)!

Cura is taking over @modbot 🚀 Cura will power all 15000+ channels on Farcaster with integrated membership gating, curation, feeds, leaderboards, and onchain tools. big thanks to @haole for building Modbot (and h/t to @jtgi for automod). with evolving technical specs around frames, custom requirements for spam and feeds, we need to redesign the entire channel experience. Cura is building an entirely new, end-to-end experience for channels/communities. not only catered to those that are on farcaster, but also to onboard net new communities that aspire to have great tools, user experience and a viable business model for communities.
