Warpcast is being rebranded to Farcaster 

1. Mobile app will be called Farcaster 
2. The Arch logo will return
3. Website will move from warpcast.com to farcaster.xyz.
4. All links will be backwards compatible. No action needed. 

Will roll out this week or next, depending on app store reviews.

Amazon unveiled its brand restyling and new brand architecture this week-a move that perfectly illustrates what I’ve been suggesting @farcaster should consider for its own rebranding. Organizing all of its sub-brands, products, and services might seem straightforward at first, but in reality, it demands strategy, organization, and careful planning. Once the structure is in place, you can begin to design identities and styles that ensure everything works smoothly together...

Importantly, this process shouldn’t happen in isolation. It should be developed in collaboration with the vibrant community of designers and brand strategists already active on Farcaster. By involving these experts and the broader community, Farcaster can ensure the new brand architecture is not only strategically sound, but also authentic, innovative, and representative of the ecosystem’s collective vision.

Farcaster & the Spirit of Onchain
(A story)

At Farcon Beer Pong we totally ran out of beer like halfway through. (@aivan and I had got as many cases as we could carry — @ted @jeff-xyz @stevie-xyz helped us bring everything up the flights of stairs. @df was our Bouncer during the run.)

Before we ever had to stop playing, three separate groups of people had gone to the only grocery store nearby and literally bought their entire remaining inventory of PBR. 

I heard @six spent hundreds of dollars. @itsbasil led another group I think. @esdotge @samuellhuber.eth also got some?

The crazy thing is that all these groups went and did this without knowing the others were, and ran into each other at the store. 

No one has even told me how much I owe them yet. I still need to learn who paid what. 

Even though this was IRL, it really captures for me the spirit of FC, Base, and how we should build onchain:

1. You don’t need permission to contribute. 

2. It doesn’t matter who gets credit. 

3. Be generous.
