I absolutely bought the sunscreen because of the packaging. But I did look it up before purchase and grabbed it the second time I saw it in the wild. Initial impressions: it’s very watery. I don’t think I’ve ever used a sunscreen with this viscosity. It’s very spreadable and a little goes a long way. It has no alcohol because it’s meant for children and sensitive skin. The finish is a little greasy for my taste but since the air is dry and cool, I think it will work nicely. I don’t think it would work in the summer. It’s easy to wash off and definitely lasted all day and felt moisturizing! And Chopper is adorable.

In the 1960s, Japan switched to Western-style seated toilets, but people had no clue how to use them—so they put instruction labels on the toilets (PS these signs still exist today in most public toilets). Farcaster is the same way. It might look like other social media, but it works differently. You wouldn’t assume you know how to operate a high-tech bidet without instructions—so don’t assume you know how to “win” on Farcaster without observing and learning first. Luckily, you don’t have to figure it out alone. There are resources like @gmfarcaster , @gmfc101 /farcasterunion and /welcome Use them. Ask for help. Leverage the kind people here. And once you get it, pay it forward. Don’t know shit? Read the instructions.

I love this shrine because the guardians are doing this hand stand thing instead of sitting. I gave him a little flair with some sakura I found on the stairs. I think he looks way cuter this was. I’ve seen unique guardians, like other animals. But this is the only place I’ve seen them not sitting. And I’ve been to MANY temples and shrines. Munetada Shrine, Kyoto
