Engagement matters—treat it as a social network, not just a broadcasting platform. 3. The algorithm prioritizes engagement—interact with content you like to train your feed. 4. Give likes freely to support content you enjoy. 5. Reply thoughtfully—generic responses don’t add value and may be ignored. 6. Tag people with purpose—avoid tagging non-followers without a good reason. 7. Use channels to connect—they’re a safe space for engaging beyond your followers. 8. If you’re being ignored, check your spam label—many won’t see your replies if you’re at Level 0 or 1. 9. Rules are looser with friends—banter freely, but remember relationships take time to build. 10. Farcaster is a unique, close-knit community—engage authentically, be patient, and you’ll find your place.

It's "Watch It Wednesday" Share your best recommendations of what we should be watching in the /anime-manga channel as a top level cast and include #WatchItWednesday in the cast. I passed on "I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!" because it looked like yet another fantasy harem anime but its actually adorable and I look forward to the new episodes each week. I misjudged it based on the character designs. It's light, fun, and paced well. I think D&D fans will enjoy it!

/anime-manga channel experiment! It's Tune Tuesday! Cast your favorite anime opening/ending or soundtrack song. Be sure to include a link so we can listen to it! Include #TuneTuesday in your cast so I can find them all! My pick today is Suko by Yabai T-Shirts Yasan. It's the ending theme to "Murai in Love" which is one of my absolute favorite RomComs from last year. It's only 12 episodes and the story is complete so it’s a great quick watch. Some takeaways from last night's State of the Union (sadly not recorded because we couldn't get FarHouse to work but we had fun testing the Spaces mini app by @moe!) The narrative "come to Farcaster to make money" is terrible and incentivizes the wrong behavior. If your reason to come here is money, you are going to be disappointed and probably won't do well. If you come to hang out with builders and innovators, you will come across opportunities not found elsewhere and you may make a few dollars here and there. I think the better narrative around money would be aimed at content creators. If you are already making great content, come to Farcaster and use the legos and rails here to take control of your audience and money making opportunities without platforms taking huge cuts of your revenue. The idea that hanging out on Farcaster full time is equivalent to a full time job income is just not true. It may one day be for the top 1% of users, the same as any other web2 platform.

The feedback I heard from every single person who went to FarCon was consistent: the event and side events were awesome and amazing. But the reason we all show up day after day is the people we meet here. Farcaster attracts the innovator class and yall are my kinda nerds.
