Talked to a few people in India who manufacture and export clothing to US brands. 

The most likely outcome if tarriffs stick for a year is that manufacturing still stays offshore, but the average American gets lower quality stuff for the same price.

Flexport's team was able to reverse engineer the formula the Administration used to generate the "reciprocal tariffs."

Found this interesting when researching mitochondrial function in South Asians. 

A 2008 study in Diabetes reported that Asian Indians exhibit higher skeletal muscle mitochondrial capacity despite severe insulin resistance, suggesting mitochondrial dysfunction may not be the primary cause of insulin resistance in this population. However, subsequent research indicates that mitochondrial function’s role in insulin resistance among South Asians is complex, with factors like reduced fatty acid oxidation and ectopic fat deposition also contributing.

Yep, that's right, I just got rick rolled by an LLM on Apr 1st.
