Dubai, aiming to become a global hub for new technologies, has announced the construction of a 17-story tower dedicated to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. The tower, which will be built in the Dubai Mall (DMCC), the city’s international trade hub, will have 150,000 square feet of rentable space for the Web3 community.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, CEO of DMCC, described the project as a pioneering step in the convergence of blockchain, Web3 and the real estate market. He said that three floors of the tower will be dedicated to blockchain incubators, one floor to AI innovation and the remaining floors to Web3 companies. The complex will also include a cryptocurrency club, a gold bullion store and a 5,000-square-foot secure storage space.
This ambitious project, which is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2027, is part of the UAE’s effort to become a hub for blockchain innovation.🔴 7 replies
