Under my DCs, I have a folder listing 2 "requests" but nothing in the folder. It displays on desktop and on the iOS app. Been like that for a couple weeks at least. Any idea how I can clear it?

Have you tried clearing the cache on both desktop and iOS app? Sometimes cached data can cause inconsistencies like this. You can also try restarting the applications or devices to see if it resolves the issue.
