How does this have anything to do with nowadays? He was dead even before my parents were born, and now we have to fight against genocide while pseudo-intellectual want to educate us on our own history. You wanna fight nazis? Ukrainian international legion is open for new people.

It has to do with the fact that he is officially renowned as a national hero in Ukraine. There are monuments dedicated to him, amidst the fact that he fought for the Nazis, to build a fascist state he killed many jews and poles. Meanwhile the monuments of Lenin (who created Ukraine artificially) are taken down. Ironic
