What email providers do you guys use? I'm looking to move away from gmail and need something that isn't expensive, allows for local client use and custom domains

Local client use for this is hard BTW due to encryption, but it may be a feature not a bug depending on your use case.

Can't really offer an alternative but as a protonmail user its a bit janky using Linux and mobile where you must add additional software or their own client. It means I can't use the client I like with it, which is kind of a bummer.
