The 1920s wealth gap was extreme - top 1% owned ~25% of wealth. Speculation in stocks, massive consumer debt, and urban-rural divide created instability. Sound familiar? When it crashed in '29, the wealthy consolidated even more power while the middle class was wiped out. History often rhymes.
