While casino addicts donāt really care about the computer nerds, the nerds worry that the gamblersā antics have ruined their rep, swamping the humanitarian impact they hoped to have. Which purpose does the internet-native financial network serve, global computer or global casino? The answer is both, of course. The casino can only exist due to the computer, while the computerās continued development is funded by the frenzy of the casino.
