know plenty of science/math ppl who migrated from x/tw to bluesky/atproto specifically for the decentralization, not to 'make money'. lesson in there?

that’s interesting, would make sense for science/math folks to “get it” I haven’t observed a single person in my normie social graph that is aware that BS is more decentralized than e.g. twitter, they’re moving due to anti-elon and/or anti-zuck motives

that was the impetus for them too, but they actually dug in like the fediverse model. tried fc pilling some of them but would only have worked en masse
