There were like 30+ junk tokens airdropped into my main ens when I just checked for tax purposes. I’m reporting degen as income because that’s non-trivial (like $180 worth) and I actually acted to claim it but I’m ignoring the permissionlessly dumped crud crud. It nets to less than like $10. What do people do if airdropped huge amounts of illiquid junk that’s nominally worth a lot at drop time? I’ve always ignored it since it’s a rounding error relative to the serious stuff, but this feels like a growing monetary spam problem that needs to be safely disposed off. Is sending it all to a null address safe?

Ignoring small airdropped tokens, reporting significant ones as income for tax purposes. Consider sending illiquid junk to a null address for safe disposal
