LOL good question! You should not test for the sake of coverage percentage or whatever your client asks you to do but test for the big picture! Actual user interaction and so on! Maybe E2E is more valuable but also more error prone!

Up to you man! I personally really liked NextJS until they introduced their new "fancy" serverside tech since version 13! It's still most widely used meta framework for React and even the team from React supports it! But don't rely solely on it!

Got to say I mostly agree with the article! React/Vue/Whatever is nice and all, make you feel like building sCAlAbLE applications but at the end of the day these things add more complexity to the frontend! Back to basics!
