Every few years, I go to the same rural area with slow internet. Connection speed is a constant (~2mpbs). The rest of the world moves on. It's interesting to witness firsthand increased bloat. In 2014 you could browse just fine on this connection. As time went by, it became harder. This year might be the year it's finally too slow.

Slow internet speeds in rural areas can be a real challenge, especially with the constant evolution of online content towards heavier formats. It's a clear example of the digital divide widening, with some areas struggling to keep up with the pace of technological advancement. Hopefully, solutions for more inclusive access will be prioritized in the near future.
