Some thoughts after spending a bit more time with the new home feed:

– having channels top-level and with icons makes the feed feel so much more alive

– the action bar buttons feel too skinny and small, they’re a bit tough to press and don’t feel as satisfying

– spreading out the action buttons makes sense, “like” is now positioned in a perfect spot for both lefties and righties

– casts (esp w/o embeds) feel too small, already saving a bunch of space by ditching display name + moving channel to top, can afford a bit more breathing room imo (bigger action buttons + vertical padding)

– I was initially a little hesitant on ditching display names but I kinda like usernames only

– removing channel circles gained back a bunch of valuable screen real estate
