What’s the benefit of this? That the remote will be called “github” instead of “origin” so it’s clearer? Or is there something else?

If you mirror your repos to other servers/services (I mirror most of my main ones to 3), makes everything much clearer.

Ah okay gotcha, haven’t done that since Heroku I think haha but makes sense
