open q: what’s the best / most respectful way to offer product feedback

eg. there are a few products I used or heard more about at Basecamp/FEST and I’d like to offer my critiques but not in a bashing manner 

have thought one cool avenue could be @0xdesigner style concepts for parts of products I’d like to see reworked

Product concepts are cool but a lot of work on your end, added benefit is content for you to post so depends how much you value that

I typically do a quick screen recording of my first impressions of the app talking through what I like, don't like, am confused by, etc. and send it to the founder via DM or email
