Can someone please explain why is wallet UX considered an existential problem for Farcaster? I kinda get why it could be a problem for Warpcast, but I'm not getting it, is reducing number of clicks for onchain interactions is primary unlock for scaling the network?

1. ultimately every new social network needs a new form of content 2. airdrops, tips, transactions so far gave farcaster a lot of traction and have potential to become even more interesting if integrated well, like eg interface having a "copy trade" frame, that works in one tap inside warpcast

1. imho Ethereum is the social network that you are describing, it already has these new form of content: transactions, tokens, nfts, markets, etc. 2. Do you agree with it making these with 1 or 2 fewer clicks as being an existential problem that is required for network to grow?

1. just transactions are not enough imo. still needs the rest of the twitter/instagram interface like following, posts, etc. I can see interface becoming an app that makes evm a social network but it's not a social network *right now* 2. 100%. my main problem is app switching and onboarding people to 2 apps instead of 1. Every tap in a consumer app is a miracle, and downloading a wallet alongside a social media app makes the whole onboarding flow really hard to complete

current state of things on warpcast and supercast is that you need to connect a wallet to use crypto pieces, so if i onboard someone to supercast, they also need a separate app as a crypto wallet ideally there is a wallet inside warpcast and supercast, ideally these wallets dont have gas fees and are more interoperable than regular eoas — these are the challenges to solve for

Agreed that this would be ideal but what if a user doesn’t care about “using crypto pieces”? Can’t they just create an account via IAP and use the platform without worrying about the money piece? They can “unlock” the crypto parts later if they want, right?
