full contact sports really kill your lower back especially if you play for 1hr+ one thing i have recently found is that if you do cupping on your lower back after playing, it's like a 50-80% recovery hack. did it the last 3 times and it's amazing how much of a difference it makes especially the next day https://www.webmd.com/balance/cupping-therapy
