A place to talk about New York on Farcaster

Finally trying Tatiana tonight, been wanting to go for almost a year, have heard nothing but great things, can’t wait

Food at Tatiana is unique and very good (but skip the $86 pastrami)

Ambiance is loud, service is awful, embarrassing for a restaurant at this level

I recommend coming once to try the food but wouldn’t go out of my way to come back

It’s a joke that this place is being called #1 in the city, it’s not even top 20

COVID killed nyc hospitality between the shutdowns and inflation☹️

We just don’t have a way to measure the lack of service and smaller portion sizes.

I think prices have gone up and portions have gone down but my favorite spots in the city (both new and old) continue to have excellent service and I think that high standard is one of the best things about the NYC food scene

Do you have recs? None of the more expensive dining I’ve done here has compared to LA since COVID.
