How about you open your code editor and build something yourself instead of demanding that a company give you all of the pieces you need?

So sick of the entitlement from some devs on here, most apps wouldn’t even get retained usage if you could clone Warpcast anyway

Until Merkle opens up DCs/group chats, I don’t think an alt client can ever actually get many users.

Why not just build your own, especially if targeting a specific community to start?

I think the historical value of messages is relatively low imo, plenty of folks switched over from Telegram + new chats are still getting started everyday

Why not have both? New chats will use your app (can use programmatic DCs to notify users that they have unread messages there) and you can eventually migrate over your existing chats if things are going well

Because the client wouldn’t have access to the other 30+ group chats I’m active in here. 

They are such a huge part of my experience on Farcaster.

Even if I had a client that was made specifically for my community, with messages built in, I’d still be missing out on the other group chats I participate in. 

Trying to convince people (followers) to use something else is a huge uphill battle. Without GCs, people won’t switch. (I’ve tried)
