9 years ago, one of the world's greatest environmental disasters occurred in a place rich in history and biodiversity. The collapse of the Mariana dam reached the Espírito Santo Regência, the place where I learned to surf and spent my childhood, an environmental reserve under strict control. The mouth of the “Doce River” received around 60 million cubic meters of toxic mud. To this day, we are living with this drama, this socio-environmental impact that is so damaging to our village. 🛖

nature is a primordial force and it will recover 🌱

Of course, I couldn't keep my mouth shut. We created a ARDRP punk design to criticize the company that made this disaster possible and to raise awareness among surfers.

On the front is the ancestral hero Caboclo Bernardo “Watu guardian”, who was strong when he became an imperial sailor appointed by Princess Isabel in 1887, and the coordinates of Secret Point. On the back is a piece of the decree declaring it a crime qualified as a crime of death and the main components of heavy metals dumped into the river, among other deadly elements.
