9 years ago, one of the world's greatest environmental disasters occurred in a place rich in history and biodiversity. The collapse of the Mariana dam reached the Espírito Santo Regência, the place where I learned to surf and spent my childhood, an environmental reserve under strict control. The mouth of the “Doce River” received around 60 million cubic meters of toxic mud. To this day, we are living with this drama, this socio-environmental impact that is so damaging to our village. 🛖
